|During the last two weeks in July, the 22 students of theMACIMISE project pursuing doctoral and master degrees held their annual meeting in Pohnpei, FSM. Taking in the local culture and sights, as well as the characteristic hospitality of the region, the MACIMISERS worked hard on the mission of the project that focuses on local practices, languages, and the preservation of mathematical ideas associated with these practices and languages.|
